Time Mgmt #15: Time is a gift

The famous Victor Hugo said, “Short as life is, we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time.” Someone said that a wasted life is really nothing more than a collection of wasted days.

Each year has the same number of days. Each year we have 365 opportunities that we can choose to use wisely or unwisely.

The difference between those who succeed and those who fail is not found primarily in talent, but in diligence and effort, but we must keep in mind that time is a gift and a gift that runs out.

Every day that passes is one less day from the total count.

The Bible is rich in instructions about the use of our time. Ephesians 5:15-17 is a great example.

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

The best use of our time is made by choosing what is good in God's eyes. That never fails.
